Assessment Body for Skill Based Assessment

Skill development is top priority for the Government of India. There is renewed impetus for developing a coordinated National Skill Development Policy which places quality and consistency at its heart. Third party assessment and certification is a key mechanism of quality assurance in skill systems across the world and is likely to be a defining feature of the new skill policy in India.
Third party skill assessment is important not only to provide ratification of a learner’s acquired skills for both potential employers and progression to further learning but also an important platform for showcasing India’s rapidly growing skill sector at international level. We are proud to partner with various Skill Councils and provide them support in India’s National Skill Development Policy.

Assessment Partner for TOTs and TOAs

We work with industry specific Awarding Body that organize “Training Of Trainer (TOT)” and “Training Of Assessor (TOA)” programs. We help stakeholders understand our assessment methodology and offer our services for conducting assessments on their behalf.
Our SME (Subject Matter Expert) visits the training center to explain the methodology of the assessment to the participants and helps them understand how the assessment is conducted and analyzed.
We simulate the assessment for both theory and practical / viva sessions to familiarize participants with online assessment platform. After the session, live assessment is conducted to assess their knowledge competencies. Thereafter, results are generated and published.

Skill Centre Audit Body

IRIS-Corp does Third Party Centre Audit / Inspection Services for Non-PMKVY (Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojna) programs. The exercise has three stakeholders - Industry Specific Awarding Body (AB), Auditor (Subject Matter Expert (SME ) representing Iris-Corp), and Training Provider (TP/VTP).
Respective Industry AB communicates details of Center Inspection to IRIS-Corp. Field cum Center Auditor undertakes defined exercise, collects evidence, and furnishes the following:

• Feedback Form
• Physical Inspection Form-1
• Physical Inspection Form-2
• Recommendation Form

Iris-Corp conducts due diligence in two phases:

• Document compliance
• Physical inspection of the training center

On completion of the audit, Auditor records his findings and shares it with IRIS-Corp. IRIS-Corp collates the same and generates a report in the desired format. This report is submitted to the respective industry AB as both soft copy and hard copy.

Rashtriya Madhyamik Shiksha Abhiyan (RMSA) / State Education Board

We offer our services to Government School programs, which run under The State Education Board, wherein industry specific skills of students of class 9th, 10th, 11th & 12th are assessed by specially certified and deputed SMEs (Subject Matter Experts). The exercise is particularly challenging owing to the fact that these schools are spread all over the state.
Currently, we render extensive end to end services in Andhra Pradesh, Himachal Pradesh, Punjab, Rajasthan, Goa, Mizoram, Jharkhand, Gujarat, Haryana, and Jammu & Kashmir.
